More lifedrawing... by oshimagun More lifedrawing... by oshimagun
We rarely do clothed figures in life drawing class, but it's really fun when we do. Kudos to my teacher Werner Zimmermann for teaching us so much stuff and letting us learn OUR way instead of molding to the way of drawing he feels is the right way.

I remember seeing this on the wall in the AAC. Always wondered who drew it. I love the movement in this piece.

Thanks. I'm not super proud of the piece aside from how fast and naturally it came out for me. I kinda threw all my previous lifedrawing knowledge out the window and just attacked this piece with "the passion" to really just try and capture the gesture. It's been a long time since I've done any (life) drawing now that I think about it-_-;;; Good luck with your schooling. Stick with the life drawing; it will pay off ^^

Yanimator: Dude it's nice to hear that from you. I still remember seeing your hardcore lifedrawing in the Sheridan hallway last year when I came to visit the place... wow... you are a champion man...

Yeah I know... the feet bothered me too... To me this drawing was all about the twist but the feet are undeniable. The left heel should be up more or something. Not enough weight to it. And the other leg is just kinda there... anyways I'm still practicing so hopefully you'll see better stuff. Thanks for the critiques.

nice gesture, you capture the turning of the body quite nicely
only critique I have is the feet look a little odd, they're not planted enough or positioned exactly how they should to pull off a pose like this.

Nice job though! :rose:
